Membership

At Outsiders and Others, we believe art should be for everyone.

Outsiders and Others is a not-for-profit art society with a mission to bring non-traditional artists to the forefront. This includes artists who are self-taught, live with disabilities, and artists who fall outside of the mainstream art world.

You membership shows your support for our organization, helps fund exhibitions, supports underrepresented artists, and increase our chances of securing grants that expand our outreach.

1-year supporting membership is $25

Having a strong supporting membership allows us to demonstrate to funders that our ongoing work is making a positive impact on the lives of the artists we work with.

1-year voting membership is $35

Membership benefits include a monthly e-newsletter to keep you informed on all our doings as well as preview access to view and purchase artwork from exhibitions before they open to the general public. Additionally, your voting membership will grant you an invitation to our Annual General Meeting where you can learn more about our accomplishments, future plans, and meet our staff and Board of Directors. And of course an Outsiders and Others t-shirt hand printed by our Board member Carl Baird.

A Lifetime membership is $950

(Technically it’s a 40 year membership) This is the ultimate way to show your support for our organization. Not only will you receive an Outsiders and Others t-shirt hand printed by our Board member Carl Baird, our newsletter, invitation & voting rights at our AGM, you will also receive an original art membership card which is an original piece of art, 2.5" x 3.5", made by an artist we have worked with. And you get to pick the one you want!
