Postcards from the Edge – A Fundraiser for Outsiders and Others
December 6–20, 2025

Opening Day Celebration: Saturday, December 6, 11am–6pm

Come kick off our newest exhibition, Postcards from the Edge, with a cozy Saturday celebration! We’ll be serving hot cider and cookies to keep you warm and happy while you explore the gallery.

For over a year, artists from around the globe have been sending us original 4"x6" postcard artworks—everything from drawings and paintings to collages, photos, block prints, and more. And honestly? They’re incredible.

So far, we’ve received over 350 postcards from more than 16 countries, and even more will be added as they continue to arrive throughout the show.

Every postcard will be available for just $20, with all proceeds supporting Outsiders and Others.

But that’s not all!

You’ll also be able to browse a huge selection of art from our storeroom, renew your membership, or pick up a gift certificate for someone special.

And here’s a little bonus hunt: spot a green dot on anything, and it’s 30% off! Yes—really!

A HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL THE ARTISTS WHO CHOSE TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS EVENT!

Mary U.

As outsiders to this land—the land of the xÊ·mÉ™θkÊ·É™y̓əm / Musqueam , Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw / Squamish,

and sÉ™lÌ“ilw̓ətaʔɬ / Tsleil-Waututh  Nations — we continue to acknowledge their stewardship of these lands

since time immemorial.

We acknowledge the colonial history that has devastated these lands and peoples,

and we are committed to learning from the past to help create a shared future of observation, reconciliation,

and understanding. As visitors to this land, our gallery is committed to supporting the development of local Indigenous peoples and communities.

In gratitude and with ever-evolving knowledge, we look forward to honest and open dialogue between Indigenous peoples and the outsiders who are here to create, learn, and prosper together.
